AMAZING STAY

I cannot say enough great things about this condo. First of all, it has a phenomenal view of the ocean and the islands of Lanai and Molokai. Sunsets were fantastic. As to the unit itself, much thought and care went into the furnishings and amenities.... more The decor was light and beachy. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking our meals...and why eat out when the balcony ("lanai") has a better view than any restaurant on the island? We enjoyed the easy access to the BBQ, the beachside pool, and the sandy beach. A true gem! less

Peaceful Paradise

I have come back to #206 a few times and it never disappoints. All of the little things that make your home a home are there in the second floor unit on the corner with an incredible view of the ocean. BEST TIME EVER!

I can't even begin to express how absolutely perfect this condo is. My daughter and I stayed for two weeks and we had the very best time. The condo has everything you'd ever need or want and the decorating is super fun and all the... more little extra personal touches were so appreciated. We strung little lights on the lanai railing and used the pineapple candle supplied on the lanai every night while eating dinner. We watched turtles out in front, watched beautiful sunsets, blew the conch at sunset and saw several pods of whales even though it was late for them. The weather was perfect and although super warm, the cross ventilation & the fans provided all the cooling we needed. The placement of this condo at the end of the building away from the pool provided for quiet except for the crashing of the waves practically right out your door. It takes a few days to get used to those crashing waves at night. The condo was super clean, the extra cleaning was really appreciated and we had one small issue with a blind that fell down but was fixed the same day. We have stayed at the Nohonani many times in prior years, but this is the first time in this condo and it will be our go-to condo for all future visits. Unit 206

Can’t beat the view from this condo. We watched whales and turtles daily. Beds are very comfortable and condo is equipped with everything you need for cooking. I would definitely stay here again

Great place to stay

Stayed here before in 2021, but on first floor (#103), this time stayed in room 206 on second floor. Great view and offered a bit more privacy from foot traffic. Only two of us stayed in this unit that sleeps 4 to I guess 6... more people. Had one and a half bath and two bedrooms and a washer and dryer to use. All the units at this complex face the water so any choice works, but to stay in this unit was a win this trip. Staff member JD is great and answered all questions. This place is a good choice. less

Beautiful Condo on the Beach

I love the Nohonani Condos, but unit 206 is a special place and this is the second time we have visited this particular unit. The condo is what you think of when you picture Hawaii. You walk into your room and there is a stunning... more view of the ocean which is literally a stones throw away and you hear the waves crashing all day and night which I love. The condo is well appointed, with wonderful Hawaiian decor. The master bedroom is stunning and overlooks the ocean. The second bedroom is small, but a perfect vacation bedroom for 2 kids. The kitchen is well supplied, beach chairs are in the room, as are sand toys, many baby items (which we didn't need), and an ice chest. We barbecued at the nearby grill one evening and ate out on the balcony to while watching sunset. The beach out front is a perfect oasis to get a reprieve from the crowds of Hawaii. The beach can be rocky... it can change pretty dramatically from month to month. This trip the beach was perfect with lots of sand and lots of turtles swimming in the nearby coral. The one negative is the room is very hot. The trade winds do blow through but for those that like cool, I would recommend another resort that offers air conditioning. Maui is a magical place and Nohonani is simply dreamy. less

Paradise

Let me begin by saying love love love! everything!. The view was breathtaking, the owner was soooooo easy to work with. Had a little hiccups with one of the toilet and Jan was so on top of it, I didn’t have to worry about anything.... more The condos provided everything you need and then some. Unit was clean and breezy. Even though we were only there in the evening, I can’t wait to get back just for the relaxing amazing sun set view. The location was close to most of my attractions. Only time we drove 1hr was to Road to Hana. Other than that, everything was walking distance or a 5-15 min drive. If your mission is to see a turtle you won’t be disappointed, I see them everyday from a distance of course. The more I type the more I’m getting withdrawals, wish I was back already. Great price

Can’t really complain at all.. the price was excellent for being on the ocean front. Loved staying here.. wasn't over crowded at all and the sound of the waves were amazing. We stayed on the balcony the entire time we were at the condo, never... more even turned on the TVs.. only thing we would have wanted was a bigger beach area out front like we have had before but like I said you can’t beat the price! Our stay at Nohonani Condos was amazing! The location of the condo was great and within short driving distance to some restaurants, food trucks and grocery stores. It's also a quick short drive to Kaanapali, Lahaina and Kapalua which all have swimmable beaches. Initially, I... more was worried of the condos close proximately to the street, thought we would hear the street traffic, but the only noice that we could hear were the sounds of the waves :) The view from lanai and the master bedroom are amazing, as it is true direct oceanfront :) The photos and the tour available online is a true representation of what it looks like. The condo is a little outdated and in need of some renos, but the it was clean and very tastefully decorated. We truly enjoyed the stay and would recommend this unit to friends and family. Anna less

Love this place!

I have been to this condo many times. We usually travel to Maui with some close family friends. They always stay in this unit, so I have spent many evenings enjoying the sunset from the lanai. This time I traveled by myself. It was the... more first time I've ever stayed there. It was terrific--very peaceful, well appointed and very convenient. The entire complex is very nice. The grounds are well kept, and the pool and beach are pretty secluded. And then there are the turtles. They have been hanging around the outcropping of coral that is just a few yards from the shore since I can remember--always fun to look out for them. I highly recommend this unit and, when my friends are not there, would gladly stay there again. less

Great Location with gorgeous views!

Nohonani 206 is a wonderful place to stay! We enjoyed every minute of our 8 days in Maui at this beautiful 2 bedroom condo. The facility is a little older but the grounds are well maintained and the view from the condo is amazing---Molakai, Lanai,... more and gorgeous sunsets. Don't let the lack of air conditioning sway you. The trade winds kept a nice breeze moving through the condo. Being just north of Kaanapali, the location is a perfect home base from which to see the island. It's quieter and feels much less busy than Lahaina or Kaanapali beach and we daily saw sea turtles right in front of the condo. The facility manager Joe and our hostess Sherri were great and showed us how to get to some great beaches and restaurants. There is a sandy beach area right in front of the condo that's decent for snorkeling. If playing in the surf is on your list---there are a couple of great beaches just north or south to ride the waves. less

Awesome Holiday

We loved our time here. The beds were great, the rooms had cooling fans and the kitchen had everything we needed. We had a corner room which had an awesome view of the sea, turtles, whales and sunsets. Lovely condo

We had a very relaxing stay at Nohonani 206. The view is breathtaking. The condo was comfortably furnished and had nice extras like beach towels, chairs and boogie boards. Great stay!

This was a great condo to stay in. We loved the location and the amenities supplied for us was great. The only suggestion would be to clean the window sills and I couldn't find a dust pan or vacuum. Thank you

Great ocean views

We really enjoyed our stay at Nohonani Condo #206. The tree in the pictures was no longer there during our stay, so we had clear views of the ocean and the sunset every night. That was an enjoyable experience. We could clearly hear the calming... more ocean all day, especially at night. The unit does not have AC and it does get hot during the afternoon without the shades down due to the direct sunlight. There was a nice market a few minutes walk away, and some restaurants within 5 min walk. Very convenient. less

Perfect Family Condo!

We are a family of 4. My wife and our 6 and 9 year old kids had a wonderful vacation in Maui, largely in part to how fantastic this condo was. We absolutely loved it and our expectations were exceeded in every regard. Usually I'm... more not one to write reviews but our experience was so positive that I'm compelled to say a few words about what we liked. Firstly, West Maui is the best location on Maui for snorkelling and swimming with kids. The waves are the right size, not too big a break but still a blast. The condo was spotless and the view is unbelievable. We watched turtles in the surf from the lanai, the kids had the beach and pool to play on and swim in, as did we. It was also a 2 minute walk to the farmer's market. In every regard the 206 unit at Nohonani was ideal. Listening to the ocean at night was also something that we personally really loved. We would stay here every year if we could. We will definitely be back and feel we found a special place to make our home away from home. Maui is a paradise. less
